I restarted the computer and everything looked normal when it came back up, however later when I tried to start up SWAT 4 it gave me this error message:ĬPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor 1496 MHz with 2037MB RAM Swat4.ini found at : c/program files/sierra/swat 4/content/system it is the file called 'Swat4' which has a notepad type icon with a cog and its 'type' is configuration settings. I did not know what I did, and when I went into the control panel to change the resolution it no longer offered that option. Select the 'Validate settings on exit' checkbox, then click 'OK'.
The other day I had a program stall on my laptop, and while moving to hit ctl+alt+delete the bottom of my hand accidently hit another key near the arrow keys (I'm not exactly sure which one) and the screen then went black, and came up again a few seconds later, it was very large, all the images and windows were much larger than normal. Again you need to hit the right arrow key after each number. You can blame whoever owns this alternative server for not putting into place a "validation" component. Running a dedicated server will give ServerCDKeyAuthenticationFailed and crash when someone connects to said server. This works great and all, but if you run a server you will get a message of "Invalid CD Key". What this person did was Hex Edit the Engine.dll file, and replaced any mention of with his/her own custom gamespy service. However, someone was nice enough to fix it: I recently purchased the GOG version and found that just like the old CD version, game server listings didn't work. GOG took SWAT 4 under it's belt, and released a "new" version. An understanding that in-game hosting (non-dedicated) still doesn't work. Ability to copy paste a file with the game closed.
